Hello.
I need help.
I've searched the forum how to remove the handle but I can't remove it.
I've pulled, twisted, the are 2 micro holes in the bottom of the handle, putted some key in there, pulled. Nothing... How can I remove the handle??

Thank you

You were in the right place with the micro-holes. The grip handle has two little plastic extensions, with lugs on the end that spring against a moulding on the inside of the grey shroud. Push a couple of pieces of wire through the holes (a paper clip is ideal), it should release the lugs so you can pull the grip off forwards.

I've tried that and it didn't worked. In which position should I stick the piece of wire? Perpendicularly to the hole? I've probed, and it didn't worked. I've entered more than 3/4 cms.
Another question, only the handbrake will come out, or the plastic gaiter also?

Thanks

It sounds like you're doing all the right things, perpendicular is correct. I'm not sure how far in you need to go, but when the ends of the wires reach the underside of the metal lever inside, that's as far as you can go anyway. I had the same arrangement on my first A2 and ended up using force to get the grip off. which broke the lugs. Hopefully you're replacing the grip anyway as that one looks broken at the other end. The plastic shroud will stay in place but it can easily be removed once you've got the grip off.

Later cars had a metal clip instead of the two plastic lugs on the end of the grip, and one larger hole in the plastic shroud. Parts from the two systems won't lock into place together, but you can wrap the metal lever with thick tape to make a tight fit to push the grip on to, This fix has got me through two MOT tests now.

No luck :(
The handbrake must be pulled up, or down so I can remove? Does it make a difference?
The gaiter will come out with the handbrake?

Thanks

Up, down, makes no difference. The plastic shroud (gaiter) will stay in place but it's easy to remove afterwards if you need to.
