HELP!! is it a fuse? or is it my head unit?

Im doing my nut in with this hands free kit, I as previous posts found that it was a bury, I then got hold of a universal cradle to fit it, to my horror it never worked.

So I bought removal keys and took a jook behind the headunit to see whats hiding there, I have a symphony head unit BTW. I seen that there was a sound linx and a bury uni car talk system there. http://www.bury.com/upload/products/uni_cartalk/Data_sheet_UNICarTalk_EN.pdf

I was told by the bloke I bought the cradle from that some of the bury systems were bought by audi and installed as an optional extra. (I don't really believe this) he told me that some bury kits come with chips to stop you just buying an aftermarket cradle for them.

I am at my end here with this, Im not sure if I have blown fuses or if the unit is broken, its off ebay - the guy tells me it works. But there are no lights coming on when I plug it in, I called another company who told me to buy a phone specific cradle for it, but if you look at my link: http://www.bury.com/upload/products/uni_cartalk/Data_sheet_UNICarTalk_EN.pdf you will see that they use the universal with the system I have....

I know this is not really an audi specific question, but please help me! Im so fustrated with it all. Im off to buy new 2amp fuses for the thing just in case...

Without schematics for the kit, or seeing it in the flesh, there's little I can do to help Chris - just work through in a methodical manner and try the fuses.

Why not pop a few photos up so that we can get a better idea of things.

I'll do that mate, I'll do my best to grab them the night once out of work. Its really hurting my brain trying to get this kit to work!!
