1.8T.

Turbo (see TTP).

Schrick cams and some other work (see Rothe Motorsport, Polo section).
Rotrex Supercharger.

That's it.

Petrol A2s don't really respond to chipping. For example Superchips quote an extra 5bhp and no increase in torque, all for £250 - http://www.superchips.co.uk/search?make=2&fueltype=1&model=20&variant=746
The standard air filter is the same as the 110 bhp FSI so a K&N or similar won't improve the power and a good exhaust may only add a couple of BHP if you are lucky.
This leaves the things Bret suggested - an engine transplant, forced induction or cams and gasflowed head etc - all of which are very expensive

What are yo pepz? Not sure I have ever come across a 'yo pepz' on an A2 before. Given the question appears to relate to a desire by the new member to increase engine power Is it some new form of engine tuning device?

I had a 100 bhp Arosa sport which was the same engine with mods (not sure what) must be easy enough to find out the differences. It was a nightmare and was constantly in the garage with the engine management light on, (prob just my car as a neighbour had one, in fact only just got rid after 8 years that gave no trouble at all) otherwise was quite nippy and tractable Hope this helps. Cheers Colin

Probably the easiest way to get more performance from the 1.4 petrol is to change the car for a 1.6FSi which is inherently more sprightly, or get a 90PS TDi and get that remapped as they can achieve 120PS quite easily. The 1.4 petrol is not a good platform for starting off with to make performance gains.

It's flat out not a performance car like other Audis are. If you want a performance car you should have bought one in the first place, you're never going to get BIG bhp out of that engine. Remember the design brief for the A2 was all about fuel economy and that's what its good at. Although the 1.4 isn't absolutely painfully slow, either.
