Hello Gucci and welcome.

Don't be disheartened - a lot of things are now listed as NLA - no longer available - for our A2s. Such things as suspension parts are however still available from new from third parties, who in most cases provide equal if not superior quality to the original items.

In terms of springs, you've got a lot of choice, Weitec, Sachs, Monroe, Eibach and my favourite, Bilstein. Have a browse of these pages and get a feel for what others have used and what you want - comfort, performance, lowering etc.

Hello and welcome to the forum Gucci. It's a concern that certain A2 parts are slowly becoming unavailable to buy new. Members will be along shortly to advise but the general consensus at the moment is to avoid spidans.

Than you skipton01 can You recommend best web site to look I’m after good quality ones same as standard or performance ones

You could do worse than have a look at Demon Tweeks, or start by looking on the popular online auction site and take it from there.

However, research on this site is the best first step - read, absorb, ask questions/send PMs etc and then narrow your options down.

Personally, if you're replacing rear springs and they're stock OE parts, then I'd wager that the dampers are also originals so I'd replace these at the same time - it's a job you can do yourself and you won't affect the steering geometry.

Good Afternoon,

Welcome.

If you really want to keep with OEM springs then your springs are available from Audi Tradition.

Unfortunately there is a supply problem currently shipping direct to the UK but possibly ways round that if you by chance have friends in the EU and ship via them, or there again possibly something for Rick's next AT order if you can be prepared to wait.

If you were going to have them fitted rather than fit them yourself, WOM Automotive near Uttoxeter would be a good place to go - pretty much the national centre for A2 mechanicals and not too far from you. By south-east standards their labour rate is very reasonable, your car will be treated with care, the job done completely properly, and they know which parts from which brands work well. I'm very happy with the Sachs suspension parts that they put on mine.
