Hi, looking to buy an A2

just to add and in support of the above comments I have been involved in forums for MGRover (Xpower), Vauxhall Astra 888 (AON), Seat, Skoda, Audi, Freelander 2, Caravan Club, and probably others long forgotten. A2OC sits at the very top in terms of enthusiasm, support, manners and general activity. It still amazes me that 10 years after production ceased how many active members there are and how many comments are posted. My daily drive is now an leggy and miley A6 however whenever possible I sneak the keys of the A2 and give it a blast to remind myself what sheer fun they are. Unfortunately SWMBO also has ideas about a Beetle :( to replace the A2......

If there is anyone out there in the Harrow area who wouldn't mind taking a look for me, I've had further photographs and info and am seriously interested in that particular car

Happy to reimburse (reasonable) travel/refreshment costs :)

Steve,

You're a gentleman; I'll see what I can set up and PM you if that's ok?

I recently posted a similar thread to this on the new Beetle forum asking for some buying advice when I was considering buying the Beetle convertible for my wife.

Have a guesshow many responses I got in 10 days...........diddly squat!!! IIt's times like that that make you realise just how helpful this club is and what a great thing it is to be a member.

Sorry for the thread swerve but I thought it worth mentioning.

If that was EVVO, then the Facebook page is a better place to go. The Forum is read by about me and Shamrockez. We are helpful, really. :)
