How much are you paying for diesel?

Canterbury seems to be the cheapest around these parts with several battling to keep it at £139.9, one of which is Morrisons and they are saying spend £40+ in-store and get 6p off a litre in their fuel station. Only saw this last week.
Have anyone else found this in their area?

:)

£1.48 Shell V Power SE London. It's £1.42 for standard Esso around here, and Texaco are selling summit from their black pump at £1.50, although what it is i dunno as i've never been there and won't be going any time soon.

Is it just me but it seems petrol is going up 2 or 3 times a week at the moment! Desel 147.9 here now. It dose not look like that the gov will scrap the planed increases:mad: they must have a agender to get people off the roads. I just feel sorry for all the guys and girls on here with long commutes.

Cheers

David

It's gone up by about 3p every time I've filled up with diesel this year. No wonder I'm chasing MPG as much as possible now driving 56 miles a day...

147.5 when I filed up Tuesday and at 150 miles a day it's getting flipping expensive, but still cheaper and more comfortable then the train, luckily I can work from home one day a week, it all helps.

it's a flipping liberty that's what it is. Somebody on here (i think in this thread) was explain the so-called reasoning behind irrational fuel prices, at the end of the day there is no explantion besides greed. The UK goverment uses fuel tax to prop up their coffers, OPEC have "emergency" meetings every time the price of a oil drops below $100 mark at which point they cut production in half - its all one big merry go round.

I think I must be ever so slightly mad! Its not the shortest route, but is the quickest from Essex to Chiswick, and it means I get to spend a lot of time in my A2.

You end up near me then, just up the river!

Looking at historical trends I predict fuel will be £2.50 /litre in 8 years time........I hope I remember to find this thread in 8 years time to see if I'm right or wrong.

I paid £1.52/L for VPower diesel yesterday, I've been putting-off selling my TDI 90 because the fuel economy is so good.

Economy should improve even more when I revert back to normal tyres.

£2.50/L in 8 years time? You must be living in never-never land! It will be astronomically more than that! I think it will only take a couple of years to reach that level!

Yep £1.52 for ultimate today :-(
with 6p off though :-D and double nectar points.

Still,its better than Tesco petrol
