Whilst perusing Ebay tonight, I came across a TT 225 6 speed gearbox, Haldex unit and driveshaft, being sold by a chap in Milton Keynes, who was planning on a quattro conversion for his Golf, which he has now decided not to do.

THe lot comes in at about £400 - if the A2 had a Golf chassis, I'd be in there liek a rat up a drainpipe!

PS, there are a few TT interiors for sale at the moment, all with heated seats and leather - could be a good project for someone, as the seat rails are virtually identical.

I almost bought the heated seats (only the padding and wires) from an A4 they were really cheap Gbp35

But the moment you take the leather off the seats its really difficult to get it back on again without creases and bubbles
 
Having retro-fitted heater elements to my seat (leather) I have to disagree about the bubbling issue.

Fair enough, it's not the easiest job in the world, but it is quite do-able, even for the novice.

should have known that before, I once did it on an escort and the result was okisch, that's why i thoughed this time i buy the complete seat
