How to make your own hand sanitiser

Possibly the strangest post I've ever seen on the forum. Thanks for sharing! Any reason for the silent movie production? ??

There was an interview with a rep from a U.K. hand sanitiser co on R4 / WatO the other day. They've ramped up production by multiples but were then running into huge issues getting enough achohol. I guess every manufacturer is the same although presumably as their own suppliers step up production things will even back out (up to a point).
 
Soap and water is better as anything is more likely removed from the hands. Where possible, that is.

I paid £20 for 5L of isopropyl alcohol, it's now at £40ish
