How to remove asr panel?

Hi, I'm a little desperate. I removed the screw that is next to the pedal and I thought it was simply to slide the panel forward. but nothing moves and I'm afraid of breaking something. Is there any step that I skipped? On the other hand, is the ashtray of the model of the year 2000 compatible with that of the year 2004? I have a pre model replacement but it seems to me that the post is different (or at least the way to disassemble it is different) in fact, I have been unable to disassemble my ashtray from 2004. Any advice? Thank you!

Are you only trying to remove the panel that holds the asr switch?

If so, now that you’ve removed the screw you have shown in photo 1 that kick panel will pull off.

Behind there are two black screws. Remove these and the unit will push forward and then release

The ashtray on all models are interchangeable. There a little black cover covering the screws to release it. Open the ashtray and it’s along the top edge

Once the screw is removed from photo 1 ... in what sense should I do the force?
I have tried pushing towards the engine and it does not make the movement. And towards the driver's door and neither...

That panel is simply clicked into place. You’ll find it easier by pulling the carpet back a bit, but just put your fingers underneath it and pull towards you.
