After taking the T27 screws out the best way to pull off the door card is to run your fingers along the bottom of the card, there you will fill a gap in the centre, that's where you should start pulling.

One tip that might help when putting the door card back on is that the two T27 screws in the door handle area are easy to lose if they fail off the torx driver (which often happens).

To reduce this you can do the following.

Before you put the screw in, use the driver without the screw and gently try to use it to establish not only where the screw thread is, but more importantly to determine the angle that the screw has to go in.
You are more likely to get the screw in at the first attempt, if you do this.

Also put a small amount of blue-tack (or similar) on the end of the driver and this should stop the screw from falling off.
With the screw held on the driver like this insert it in the same angle as you did to establish where the screw hole is. But insert it slowly and if it hits something other than the screw thread try again gently after adjusting the angle. You will eventually feel it go into the thread and that should do it.

Prior to adopting this process I used to lose the screw around a third of the time and BOY was that annoying.
