how to use the radio to display the ambient temp?

I have seen on you tube that you can press the recirc and upper vent control buttons simultaneously to get into a special mode that displays things like road speed and revs but it doesn't seem to work on the A2, does anyone know how it is done as I want to check my ambient temp sensor?

I can't make this work as I can on my A3. From my searching nobody else can either...looks like the A2 doesn't have this function I'm afraid....while I was trying I managed to change the readout from C to F but that's it
