Yep, yesterday mine has undergone the operation. Chiptuning at home.
They had sale, so i did it. The company i called does this all the time for years at audi vw dealers, so it sounded ok.
They came on time. Pulled the computer out. Soldered the chip oud. Backed up my software, new software and all put back together.
Then we did a test drive. I was not too impressed. But there was progress. The important thing was that this software was tested on ....(don't know how its called). It's also found ok by german tuv standards. So not more smoking. He told me that he could put more oemp in it by pushing turbo boost higher, but he didn't advise is. Anyway. After work i drove alone. It was fast. Quite fast. It doesn't show but before you know it your driving 160km/h
Also, the guy was propebly about 100kg, so that was the thing that gave me less feeling, but, now it's realy fast. He told me it coult take about 100km's to be fully good. It's really good
