I just would like to share with you the new life brought to x2 old iPads, one for Navigator and one for Entertainment.

They properly fix in the A2 !

It is a very first version, but I will continue uploading updates and new images,

Great idea. I am keen to hear more about installation and 8ntegration woth an A2.

I was thinking about it with the kids behind watching videos and films with the iPad, so "why not finding alternatives?"

Initially, I thought about the clean and proper setup with RNS-E, ecc; but then the question came to my mind "why not using all that old electronic stuff?" and in that point the project was already started.

The important thing here is that it is near 0-cost, and must be fully functional and the hardest judges must agree and accept: kids...

?

So, you can see in photo this second setup. The initial one was with the iPad 11" in the Radio position ( I will upload a photo with that too). This second setup is better in terms of visibility and better fixed to the A2 and works perfectly with Sygic or similar offline Map app.

And my elder kid suggested: why not using the old iPad Mini for the passenger seat? Great!

But... but... this leaves the door open to a third iPad !! (second 11") and in that case the A2 would become really an A2Rship ? !!

Not an ipad but a Garmin satnav. So any tablet or phone of similar size could potentially be mounted like this.
