Interior Heating HELP!!!!!!!

Hi
My pride and joy black TDi SE (03) bought from new that never ever has anything wrong with it was like a fridge to drive last night! The blowers are working as are all the settings etc but only cold air coming out :confused:. Anyone got any idea what could be wrong pleeaaase.......
Checked the fuse and that seems fine.

Hi Alison, welcome to the A2oc.
I think your 2003 model year car will have the additional heating element which supplements the normal cab heater in cold weather. It should switch on automatically so the problem could be with the control system or the element itself. I suggest you have a diagnostic scan to pinpoint the problem

Check this thread (post 17 onwards) which shows the position of fuse 'B', the 60A fuse for the additional heater element. This is separate from the normal fuses and will require removal of trim panels for access.

No internal heating!

Thanks for your reply Spike. I have looked at the diagram and will check it out as soon as it stops raining. Great posts on here and so glad there are those who love there A2 so much to find out and share the info. I will post here when I've looked at it. Thanks again, Alison.
 
Sorted!

Just to let you know I have sorted the problem out today. I found out I had a water leak and have now replaced the oil cooling hose (I think that's what it's called? double hose goes between the water pump and engine). Thanks for the earlier advise Spike.
