Has anyone else noticed how many A2s feature in this movie?

I think it's pretty cool how such an old car was deemed futuristic enough to be included

Product placement deal between Audi and film company. Audi developed the RSQ (effectively the forerunner to the R8) for the film - it was the vehicle driven by Will Smith's character throughout. As part of the deal they were given free reign to incorporate other Audi products into lesser/background roles - there are A6 based police cars and modified TT coupes in there as well as the A2 taxis.

Plus it was released in 2004 filmed 2002? so the A2 was still a new car. It makes me feel old that Irobot is now 12 years old!!
