Issue on a 1.4 petrol with EML light on

Just scanned this car for a very nice chap. He’s changed the EGR valve himself but EML won’t clear even after I’ve cleared codes and this is what’s showing. Any words or wisdom I can pass on?

Is the EGR wiring good? Check for damaged wires. bent pins and corrosion. Was it a new EGR valve?

Check the fuse that covers the EGR valve. It isn’t listed on the fuse box cover, but it’s fuse 31. It had me baffled last year, and it kept blowing when the ignition was turned on. It was the crankcase breather heater element which had failed. You can unplug it if it’s that that’s at fault until you source a replacement.

Thanks for that @Bargepower I did not have a 1.4 petrol fuse diagram. But as you say if it is not listed I would not have known which one and still thought a wiring problem.
