Have just purchased a Silver 04 Plate 1.4Tdi Sport.
Will be taking delviery of it on Saturday 12th April.

It's a second car, for her indoors if I'm honest.

Many thanks to everyone who has taken time to respond to the few queries I have posted since joining recently.
All the advise has been taken on board and proved very informative & helpful with regards my purchase.

If there are no restrictions in place on the board, I'll post a few pictures of the car as and when I get time after we collect it.

I've really yet to check whether there is a "members cars" thread.

I'm sure there's bound to be a lot more questions for you guys as we "find our way around" the A2 - but we are genuinely excited about it, the missus & the bairns especially.

Collected the A2

Well - finally picked the A2 up this morning.
Anyone intersted here's a quick pic :

First impression (over and above the test drive of course) are very good.
Pretty good experience with the dealership - just waiting for them to get a new mat set for me.
Everything else was as I would have expected.

I just need the missus to be very careful with the rims !! ;)

Does anyone know of an OEM catalogue online for A2 parts, accessories, etc?

Might post a few more pictures - if it ever stops bleedin' raining long enough to take some !

You're welcome - we are a friendly bunch and don't be afraid to ask questions either. Make use of the search funtion as well, as most topics have been covered before, but if there's anything you need clarifying, ask away!

ULP - I did get it from Tyneside Audi as it happens.....and I can vouch for the fact that I got it reduced by approx £1100 from what it had been advertised at 3 weeks ago or so.

Whether I had it has "bargain of the year" is debateable - but I did get a very good price off a 9 year old Yaris we traded in. That, coupled with the discounted screen price, meant I couldn't squeeze anything else out of the delaership at all. (I tried, honest :eek:)

I'd intially put a holding deposit on an 03 plate SE that they have advertised now. It was the very low mileage that attratced me to that one - DETAILS HERE , but when it came in and we test drove it, the lack of Air Con proved too much, as that was a major factor for changing the Toyota.

(I had said Air Con was a prerequiste when I made my initial enquiry about A2 stock - obvisouly the salesman missed that detail !)

Thankfully, this was last Thursday, when I went back with the SE, the '04Sport was still available and we went for it.

The rest is history as they say.........

PS - Should I be more plaesed than I am already at the price they have it up for?

Maybe I just timed things right (luckily) - as the dleaership is undergoing a major revamp in the next week or so, so they are having to make some room on their crowded forecourt - hence the discounts of 2-3 weeks ago.

Well - thats the salesmans patter !!
