A Freelander..... 2009 diesel with 70k miles, one owner with FMDSH including service last month , almost new tyres, full MOT, 6 months tax. Traded in the Seat Toledo before the DMF finally goes bang....

In all seriousness - congratulations. I'm quite familiar with the new car feeling myself and it does feel nice to have something new to play with.

I know Freelanders (especially mk 1's) have their faults however the previous owner bought another and i bought it from a semi-L/R specialist so took a gamble it must be a good 'un. And i was sick of looking at sheds of varying marques (C-RV's, iX35, etc) described as 'mint' or a thousand other mis-uses of the English language when it was obvious they had been in shunts or used as vans! The Toledo is a smart looking car but in need of too much expenditure (£1500+) on a car still only worth £2k trade-in. This also ensures we have plenty of reserve towing capacity if and when we upgrade the caravan.
