My love of this for 8 years forged the way for my A2..........which took me being forced to be stuck inside (rather than hiking or climbing) to finally get round to fixing it properly and being polished and cherished as much as my A4 was.....

That's Ailsa Craig in the Firth of Clyde. ?
That name, I know it from SOMEWHERE! It's driving me mad trying to remember what it was to do with? Food, the garden, something? AH! I think I've got it! A variety of TOMATO! I hope that's right! :)

Yup its tomatoes and a variety of onion ..good pub quiz one ?

..my A2 is barely visible and yet notably not-washed (sorry for that) further in the background, the green one in the focus here has just started after rotting away in eastern-european weather for 2 years (that would include, but not limit to a period of approx. 9 months under something like a foot of snow) in total neglect; to my mind, another testimony to build and design qualities which my A2 seem to live up to :)

I didn't make this vid with a thought of a broader audience, so it happens to be short and dirty (so to speak), but I was really depressed with this crisis, worried about my parents who supposedly are in the risk group, and this old comrade, which has dragged me trough the unspeakable, springed back to life so easily it "vorshprunged dursh tehnik" me for a bit as well :))

Found this shot on my phone today but didn’t take it knowingly. Must have had my phone in my hand unlocked and just

accidentally took it. Hero telephone engineer who fixed my broadband and made it run the way it should, more than twice as fast as before ?

That's rather artistic, although the artificial depth of field which blurs the engineer but leaves the house behind him in focus is a bit disconcerting!

A year ago just now A2OC (well a few of us anyway) were preparing for the A2oc Scottish Holiday. Can't believe it's nearly a year. It was a wonderful experience. Much more about the people than the cars. Although the cars weren't left out!! We shall do these things again.

Remembering a year ago when we made so many happy memories and friends were so so supportive.
Thank you to everyone who was at the Scottish Social and beyond. The A2OC family at it's best.
Missing you all XXX

I thought I'd share my Leyland Zoo with you guys. There are a couple more cats now.

They were all hand made by craftspeople in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham...

Designed to fitted to Coaches and Buses, the idea came from 'The Lion of Olympia' AKA the Leyland Eight car in the 'Twenties.

After this, a number of Chassis recieved Animal or Mythical God names and appropriate badges.

Oldest is 66, the newest is 30!

As the car hasn’t seen much action for over 3 months my son and I decided to test the car’s usefulness to its limits and provide some silly entertainment for you all. Only pictures to follow at this stage as I didn’t see a way to add a few seconds of video footage. Thankfully no A2s were harmed in the filming!
