Hi Teresa!

met up with Tom Cunningham to get some work done on my car today, and also met Ian Weston, and told me about Kimbolton. Never shown my car before at any event, and would love to, if a space becomes available. Keen to get more involved. Will be planning to visit anyway. Are there any social events planned in the South East?
 
Ah Kimbolton is quite close to me! If I'm still the custodian of the yellow peril before then I'll bring it along - but I won't register to show as I'm away in Canada in the week leading up to it, so obviously I can't commit. Be good to see some more A2's together

Let me check numbers and see if we have space. I can always leave one if mine at home if needed, so it should be ok.
We haven't got anything specific planned for the South East so far, but if there is something in the you think would make a good day out (motor museum, nice drive etc), just drop me a message and I can get an event set up.
I'll confirm Kimbolton for you asap
 
The kids and I will join the convoy (the bit my kids enjoyed most about the Stanford Hall meet 🤣) at Brampton also!

Booked hotel, as it looks like a great event and would good to meet yourself and other members of A2OC. Gives me a reason to spruce up the car, either way! 😉

I have some ideas for nice drives, etc as I run an Astronomy Group, so have contact for lots of different sites/venues across Hampshire which could be suitable, so could help set something up. can you PM me?

With the countdown clock ticking down, I thought I'd just remind people about this event. @Teresa has done a fantastic job arranging a pitch for the club. Whether attending in an A2 and being part of the club stand or whether attending in a non-A2 and parking up as a regular member of the public, you are bound to have a fantastic day. This really is the epitome of a great classic car show, set in a stunning backdrop, and is a fun filled family day out. Hope to see you there.

Hi Tom, looks like we have had a couple of people unable to attend, so we have space. Definitely for 1 car and normally there are 1 or 2 late cancellations, so hopefully 2 cars ok. Ive reopened the registration until Sunday so you can add your name

We definitely have space, and I've reopened registration so you can add your details.
We can catch up about a possible Hampshire event too while we are there

Thank you Teresa,

That’s the 2Work clan registered. If possible I’d like to have my A2 on the Club stand and have Susan’s A2 in the public car park, just incase she needs to depart earlier than 16:00. She will of course be part of the convoy in but will peel off to the public car park as we enter.

Not one to tempt fate, but the words wave and heat, not necessarily in that order, spring to mind. 😊 After COVID-19 and some less than perfect weather at Stanford Hall, absolutely welcome. Sun cream looking like the preferred weapon of choice vice the umbrella as things stand.

Very much looking forward to this belter of a show.

I've just had the site map come through and we are actually in the area with the trees this year. Closer to the action and should be a lot shadier than being out in the open area 😊
 
Hi everyone. It's only a few days away. I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time to organise a meal for the night before.
Thankfully the hotel (holiday inn huntingdon racecourse) just rang and they are ringing everyone staying over the night before tonask if they want to book a table in the restaurant.
My parents are coming with Gary and me so we have booked a table for 6pm as my mum can't eat too late. I have told that they may get other people from A2OC and if any book similar times, we are normally fine to be on one table.
See you all Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning
 
Looking forward to it T. I just need a window to pamper the car beforehand. :)
