Morning all,

Unfortunately something has just developed which results in us not being able to head to Kimbolton in the next 2 hours. Pretty disappointed as we were really looking forward to catching up with you all and enjoying the show. Will see if we can make it there before you leave the stand at 16:00.

Have a great day and keep applying the sun cream.

Kind regards,

Tom

So sorry to hear that Tom. Hope everything is OK. Hope to see you later, but understand if you can't make it.

Looks like a wonderful day. I had an Alfasud ( amazingly aerodynamic due to the fact that the air went right though all the rust holes ) and then an Alfa 33 with a wooden steering wheel many moons ago. Both destroyed by rust but I still hold a candle for Alfa

Great day, glorious weather, amazing cars and lovely to meet a few members too!

Huge thank you to everyone who came today and made it a great day. I know that a few had hefty journeys (@RZX , @Special edition @Cenick and @Woodsey65 (great to meet you both), so really appreciate you making those journeys to join us)
I think it must have been the hottest Kimbolton so far and having been a little disappointed at our spot in the trees when it was allocated, the shade was perfect.
I will post pics tomorrow - for now I need to attend to my sunburn! 😳

Sorry to shoot of so suddenly without saying goodbye to everyone.
Gary certainly gets the award for eating the biggest ice cream without dribbling any in the heat.
Martin and I had a fab time with Kieran (Darren's youngest) what a bright enthusiastic lad, and he was so polite not getting bored with Martin's repartee on 1950's cars.
Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
Look forward to the next social we are able to attend.

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone who came and made this such an amazing day/mini break.

There is no better club, the family ethos and community spirit so evident again. The Kimbolton Country Fayre didn't disappoint, great attendance overall, some fantastic cars, some exceptional cars (read Audi A2 😉), and the usual well organised and diverse entertainment.

A massive thank you to T @Teresa (and Gary) for the organisation. A special thank you to @RZX Mandy and Martin for their immense kindness, for entertaining Kieran today, for giving him a lesson in table football last night Mandy, and for your kind words above. Sincerely appreciated.

For me this is the what car shows are about, such a great event.

Thank you once again, a pleasure to talk with you all, spend time in your company, and enjoy the experience with you lovely bunch. Even the pitch, with the trees, was heaven sent today - I dread to think how fried we would have been in the usual cricket pitch location.

I'll post some pictures in due course.

Cheers.
