knocking from front wheel

Hi
When I go over a bumb or hit pot hole horrible knock and greating noise from front wheel. Baffled audi and local garage for two yaers. All bushes and springs changed most of front suspension too. Anybody any ideas.

Your description does not match exactly but I suspect I've experienced something similar - see post 2 of the attached thread
If it is the same problem then fitting Koni FSD shock absorbers is the (rather expensive) solution
