Knocking from the front

I get a knocking from the front of the car only when makeing a right turns at junctions. It sounds like something tapping a pipe, its so annoying and the dealer has tried for over a year to fix it.
I wondered if any other owners had a similar problem and can help me out. my car is a A2 1.4 SE.

get your front drop link bushes looked at mine has had 2 sets in 50k miles but to name a long list of faults and replacements mine has got to be the worst car ever

If it is drop links they would be knocking every time you went over a bump this is also true if the anti-roll bar bushes have gone.

Might be worth while having your bottom ball joint checked you could have some play in the joint but only when the joint is in a certain position.

Try turning the steering as if you were going round a right hand corner then obviously stop the car and go round to that side and just bounce the suspension on that side and see if you can hear the noise and then try and track it down if you get anything from that.

Thats all i can think of doing by yourself without costing anything.

Many thanks for both of your replies ill be showing them to the dealer when in goes in again next week, maybe that will help them get to the bottom of it.
