Knocking noise.....

Hi gents.

Would like some input please.
Knocking noise/ front end/
On left & right hand lock
In forward & reverse gears
Also flourish squeaking noise same area.

I'll bullet point the symptoms...


1. Drive shaft replaced early this year
2. Noise dissappeard
3. Noise returned
4. Been to Audi spec
5. They cant find anything
6. Advise me to leave it until it breaks
7. Not happy with that no confidence with driving on long journeys

Any input greatly appreciated.

There's no way that you're arch liner has come adrift? perhaps the wheels rubbing against it? Running standard wheels?

Failing that look inside CV boots and re-pack with relevant grease. Was it a genuine driveshaft used? The circlip on pattern parts can be substandard and come away, letting in water...
