Leather Conditioner

I'm another for Gliptone, it brings back the knap. And I love the smell, reminds me of when I was a kid and every car had leather interiors, shows my age!

I used Ikea leather treatment.
you clean with the wee sponge supplied then you use the leather treatment after.
I have also used the works hand moisturiser on the steering wheel,Nice n soft again :)

Is Gliptone a brand, or a chemical? I just got some Simoniz leather treatment, going to give that a go this weekend.

Gliptone is brand of leather cleaner and conditioner. You can find them on sale on Ebay or you buy them directly from Gliptone stockist or even directly from Gliptone.

Wheelers Traditional Leather Balm, contains Neatsfoot oil and pure beeswax!
I've been told by folks in the leather/tanning trade that this is the stuff..! I've used it for about 12 years on my leather computer chair, and it's as soft as a virgins kiss...!

Just my opinion

Cheers

Hank

My stock of Gliptone leather conditioner has been used up :( and I need to buy new one.
I was very satisfied with it, but sadly I cannot get it in Europe anymore, buying in UK is not really an option due to high customs costs that basically tripple the price.
Can anyone recommend another leather conditioner that is available for purchase in Europe. Or with what do you have a good experience.
I want to use a professional leather product, not some DIY variant as hand creme, etc.

I wouldn't bother with conditioner, unless you have an older car with uncoated leather. Easy test to check - put a drop of water onto the seat, if it beads then the leather is coated and a conditioner will simply moisturise your clothes 😅

The best care you can give to leather seats is regular cleaning, a sealant and keep them protected from UV rays as much as possible.
