Legal LED H7 *LHD only

Many of the suspension mods, wheel and tyre combinations our members use and recommend are non OEM and of questionable legality, in the strict sense. But the risk is small, and obviously many of us think it's a risk worth taking.
If driving with lights that are obviously aftermarket, and causing glare and nuisance to other road users, it shouldn't surprise you if the police take notice, and maybe, action. But if your lights are not causing glare, are not excessively bright, and the beam pattern is within spec. why would they pull you over? And what would you be charged with, if they did? Using non OEM parts m'lud?
Come on, life's too short for all this negativity.

I retrofitted HID-lamps together with projector lenses 7 years ago and is happy with that. https://www.a2oc.net/community/index.php?threads/finally-hid-headlights.27082/

Thst is in my opinion a much better solution than any headligt without projector.. My problem is that it is obvious that the white light is modified and the MOT here in Sweden will not approve it. I have to swap headligts every MOT to pass the inspection and the headlight fitting is so poor that I also have to make headlight alignment at every swap.

I also have the OSRAM combined LED Foglight/DRL retrofitted. They also have all approval documents from Osram but got rejected at MOT because they are not compliant to AUDI whole car approval.

Although I have been UK centric, bureaucracy knows no borders. Very few of the parts we fit would have been in the original homologation document. Luckily, the bureaucratics concentrate on things that are obvious, lights etc, not other important areas like brakes.
