Well he goes.......

My life with my lovely new A2 is about to enter a new chapter, can understand that with a new car you can have the odd little niggle that you want to eventually get around to rectify but looks like a few of these have become ever increasing problems.
Here is the list:

1. Clutch juddering and knocking on gear change
2. Pano roof (not working) insecure and starting to get a wet head!
3. Revving like a mad man on idle when starting.
4. Having to brake like a Flintstone's car as the pedal obviously didn't get the memo about it's job to play in stopping the vehicle.

Not really concerned too much with the minor faults (at the moment)....

1. Insecure blower unit
2. Crack on screen
3. Odd little dents and scratches

Spent years on the spanners but now regretting selling all my tools, time to invest again I think.

Enjoy getting the spanners out again. But I would also recommend you pay a visit to your local A2 specialist at A2 Cars, in Milton Keynes - if nothing else to fix your leaky broken sky roof! Tony is the expert when it comes to these matters, but A2s in general...

Ok, not a good bank holiday Monday. Lots of noise from the engine and a few puffs of smoke and the oil light on. Dumped a litre of oil into her to travel the last few hundred yards and now sounds like a diesel. New engine time me thinks and convinced that I've bought a bag of poo! Is it worth it? Time to price up? Not impressed......

Yikes, sorry to hear this! My one suggestion for you is to repeat my suggestion above and contact Tony at A2 Cars. He's based in MK and will be able to give you a proper diagnosis.

Have done this now and Tony's popped over to have a look, reinstalled some confidence and it's booked in for the end of September. Fingers crossed.

You'll not go wrong with Tony. I was having my car fettled when your other half popped in to see Tony on Thursday. I wish i lived that close.
