Looking for a service provider in Walthamstow/Leyton area

Hi,
I just bought by A2 and despite the dealer saying they performed a service, I still get the 'service!' message on ignition.
Also having just bought it, I want to get it given a good assessment by someone qualified.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a VAG-certified person or place in or near Walthamstow or Leyton?

Hello,

If part of the deal was performing a service, your first port of call I would assume would be the dealer? Resetting the service light (if that's all they have omitted to do), is part of a service! You should give them the chance to fix the issue.

That said, a good once-over and a VCDS scan by someone knowledgeable is a good idea. Can't help you as you're the "wrong" side of London from where I used to be. Good luck.

@Sarge is in Walthamstow and has been plugging his VCDS kit into A2s for over a decade.

You can easily reset the service indicator yourself (thanks to @mrbroons for this video);

You won't of course know whether the car has really been serviced or not. So you'll still need to find a VAG specialist.
