Loss of power

While on the way to work in the quattro integrale turbo nonsense and crusing at the speed of fright we had a bit of a power loss ... cruised to the next junction a quick turn off turn back on reboot and intergalactic warp power had been restored .. .

What's going on ere then.?

Not entirely sure I follow but you need to scan engine fault codes. Probably exceeded upper boost pressure limit and went into limp mode. This can be caused by sticky VNT mechanism on the TDI90 or possibly a MAP sensor, vacuum leak or inlet manifold needing to be decoked.

I done a quick torque pro scan and nothing found.. boost was restricted but turn off and back on and it was back to normal

Could be pressure loss due to leaking/blown/ripped pipe/hoses from turbo and/or intercooler.
If the leak is really small it's almost not noticeable under normal driving conditions.
There's no hissing sound present?

No no noise, hiss nothing .

Sounds exactly like sticking variable vane ring in the turbo, the sensor see’s to high a pressure & enters limp mode,
this is reset by turning off momentarily & back on where upon it returns to normal until the same condition presents itself.

It's a brand new turbo

Almost sure you've got a pipe/hose going bad or intercooler on it's way out.
Had an AMF Arosa where the elbow pipe exiting the turbo had a cut, an AMF A2 with an intercooler ripped; Same as yours, restart and all was fine till boost had to be delivered in high gear, low rpm, mucho throttle.
In the beginning it only happened once in a while, because the cut wasn't big enough to trigger limp mode directly.
Also had the elbow ripped at an ATL 90, this one stayed in limp till it was fixed, because she's a sophisticated lady...... ?

My TDI75 does this when pushed really hard, found one of the coloured vac hoses disconnected

Think i have reconnected it but not driven hard enough to find out, will say should it pop off again i will lengthen the pipe work at top of bulkhead to enable more length around driveshaft area
