Loud A2 in Lanark.

Hi Guys,

Caught a quick look at a modded A2 in Lanark, Scotland at the end of last week; It was red (I think a darker shade) with Silver graphics.

It had a wide "Strobe Stripe" on the side- Almost window-high at the back, tapering down towards the front, and Viper stripes over the roof. Windows looked pretty dark, and the chin looked more pronounced than stock. I didn't see the wheels 'cos it was moving!

If it was you, I would love a closer look; And if the description is not 100%, I apologise; it was dusk, and you were moving!

It is a 1.4TDi in red with a viper stripe on the top and graphics up the side. It has 4 exhausts at the back too? I know the guy who used to have it. His cousin had a black one with the same kit and exhaust. The black one had RS6 alloys on it and the red one has RS4 alloys on it. AFAIK the sound systems have been upgraded too. Sold it a wee while ago to Thomas Wallace cars. Was interested but didn't like red.

You would have to be a big fan of them stripes
i bet it will show up on here one day ........
 
Yep, that's the one. The guy's replaced it with an M3 convertible. The one with the black one replaced it with an A3 2.0T in Yellow.
 
Hi Guys,

That looks very like the one I saw; I am in Lanark fairly often, so I will print off some of the pocket flyers.

In between me ordering my 1,4TDi and having it delivered, (It needed a private plate taken off+ serviced, etc) Two others have arrived in our village!

I have found out who owns one, and will find out about the other.

Hmm, I believe that it's about time for a scottish A2 meet. Will post in the meets bit. :cool:
