Luggage compartment cover fixing bracket broken off

Hello everybody. The cover of my luggage compartment has one of the fixing brackets broken off on one side which means that the cover does not stay in place when the car starts to move. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Do I have to replace the entire plastic part that is placed inside the cover?

Hopefully you still have the bracket/clip in the boot somewhere. I have had both sides break on me over the years. I used araldite and a pin pushed through the hole in the clip to then secure in the roller blind fixing.

They have both been in place for the last 5 years without any issues.

Hi. Thanks for the repply. unfortunately I don't have the bracket because when I bought the car the bracket was already broken. Is there any way to create a makeshift support or is it possible to buy the missing support somewhere?

May be easier to obtain a replacement load cover from one of our breakers.
