Hi,

Has any one got the part number for correct gasket to seal an LUK tandem pump to the engine. (with silcon blobs on it). I have the ATL engine with LUK as standard. I see there was a recall on tandem bolts but havent checked mine yet. Im trying to sort an oil leak so may as well get a new tandem pump seal.

Can i replace the seal without removing the fuel lines etc? I dont want to get stuck with air in the lines and dodgy oil fuel pipes spliting or ripping and all that nonsense :)

Thanks for any help people.

With or without blobs of silicon I had no end of trouble with these seals until I bought a genuine Audi seal, it wasn't expensive.

I've always, and I've done this job many times, disconnected the pipes and fully removed the pump. Never tried without disconnecting them, will next time. will save all of the cranking to get air out of the pipe.

Apparently there is a pump to draw fuel to the tandem pump but I don't have this tool.

I was going to get audi one, just need the part number, was thinking there might be two one for boach and one for luk.
