Main battery earthing point

Where does the main battery earth cable attach to the car, has anyone earthed the battery directly to the bodywork at the rear of the car and if so where did they attach to?

Where does the main battery earth cable attach to the car, has anyone earthed the battery directly to the bodywork at the rear of the car and if so where did they attach to?

The main battery earth lead is bolted to the longitudinal member of the space frame near the rear left door. I have never seen a picture but a little bit of info here.
