Marks from rear spoiler gasket

I’m sure I’m now the only one experiencing this issue, the gasket behind the spoiler is not flush any more so dirt streaks appear at the slightest rain

How have people overcome this?

You will probably find that the rear spoiler is actually filling up with water as most (if not all) inevitably do.

The fix is to drill two small holes, one either side underneath in the bottom corner of the spoiler to allow the water to drain away. I used a 5mm bit.

Sounds a bit of a bodge I know and not something I would normally condone, do or recommend but unfortunately it's the only solution!

Oh and clean the rubber gasket with fairly liquid and a toothbrush ?

I seem to have a sort of stain on the glass below the spoiler on one side. From years of dirty water leakage from the spoiler (I assume).

Anyone know how to remove said stains? It doesn’t come off with scrubbing using a car shampoo and micro fibre towel

Clay bar it.
