Here is Nissan's take are their future Almera replacement:

Now I know Renault and Nissan have joined up, but Nissan could have at least tried to make it not look like a Megane!!.

Brings back memories of the Rover 200 and Honda Concerto (I think it was Concerto-wasn't there a Ballard in there somewhere?).

But you have to admit that keeping the shape near identical is a bit weird-will the next Clio look identical to the new Micra?

Maybe Nissan/Renault have run out of dosh/ideas/design team!

Reminds me of the launch of the Volvo 480ES many years ago - all the volvo bumf issued about the "new volvo 1.7ltr" engine but when you lifted the bonnet it had Renault logos all over it!

Steve - youv' got it the wrong way round - the next Micra will look like the Clio!

I think that this is starting to happen a bit too much at the moment, there's a lot of incestuous design going on. The new golf is a prime example for me, it's just looks like a SEAT if you ask me, which isn't a good thing!! Two seater roadsters are much of a muchness these days also. I have to say though it's good to see that Audi is doing something different I love their new design style, and I want to have the Audi le mans (concept) babies it's an amazing machine, especially with those two Lambo engines sitting in it!!

There are some truely amazing designs out there, but I think it is truely sad to see so many designs blending into one these days!

It wasn't until watching 5th gear tonight where they had a 3-door Golf in the flesh did I realise how much like the Seat it is-an Ibiza at that!. It's in the Leon class as well!. It just looked so dinky.

Still looked nice though-I wouldn't say no if I had to take one.

I like the new megane but as Nissan is not doing very wel here in the Netherlands I think you can get a far better deal if you want to swap your A2 for a Megane or the new Nissan.
about 5 or six y ago I bought a nissan Vannette van and they gave a lot for my old car than.
