Merry Christmas 2020 to our A2OC family (from the admin team)

It is an understatement to say that 2020 has been a testing year for reasons that will live long in our history. It has been a year filled with uncertainty, lows, self-isolation and loss that is unbearable. Whilst the world has changed for us all in many ways, the enthusiasm and love we have for our aluminium A2s has not waned. A2OC has remained steadfast, a resource that has kept us all together and kept our community spirits high. Despite the challenges, we have been able to share, laugh, celebrate, remember and enjoy. Importantly, it has facilitated contact and enabled us to look after each other.

Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas and good health, happiness and prosperity for 2021 and beyond. A toast to a return to normality and to a return to social interaction and club activity. Take care of each other and yourselves and above all, enjoy every second of the festive season.

And a very Merry Christmas back to all the team. Thanks for all the support through out the year. The members make the team , the Admins make the site. Without you there is no team.

What you should have done with the cards is leave the names off so we can pin them on.....

Lets hope the coming year is a far better one for everyone, and their friends and family are keeping safe.

A hearty thanks to the back room team, in the knowledge that we will be able to socialise again sometime in the not too distant future. In the meantime a very happy and safe festive season to all, however you end up spending it.
Season's Greetings to all of the Admin team and the entire A2OC community.

In these worrying times it's unfortunate that the Government isn't as well organised as this forum. I suspect that, if it was, the Government equivalent of Spike would have searched out an old post giving details of how a similar pandemic was cured and we'd be back on the road in next to no time.
Happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas to one and all in this wonderful wee community. Proof that a team really is more than the sum of its parts. Its been a really challenging year. Tragic deaths and illness aside the social isolation has been truly terrible with it all being too much for some people I'm sad to say. It's been so strange not having social activity to look forward to and prep the cars for a meet and greet.. Talk A2 geekery and generally enjoy time with one another. As most of our socials are a significant drive for me I've really missed those long drives where I am reminded of how much I love that wee aluminum motor. My wee pal. 😉
Here's to better times. Vaccinations (no politics I'll be taking mine) and we hold the course till we can venture out again. Albeit with some trepidation after such a stressful year. The cars and the occasion is waiting. Stay strong and safe till we meet again. I think the first social of 2021 will be a memorable one ❤️🌞🙏
