Misfire dramas

Putting this out there for info and feedback.

From cold. No issues at all.
Gets warm. And EML blinks but if it stays off car ticks over stable.
If I do an Italian tune up it goes into misfire mode and then idle is lumpy......

??????????

Got my VCDS lead but not tried yet... However a friend got me on the cylinder 2 coil pack lead replacement shorting as only one swopped as can see cable crimps in insulation tape.....
Someone mentioned PCV due to mileage (118,000) and wad of bills and receipts never mentioned PCV or perhaps de-coke?????
Anyway starting from cold after the classic TSI rattle for 10 seconds I know I hear a funny fluttering from back of engine climate control area sounding like a Lister put put engine.... It's like a farting raspberry sound for about 20 seconds then eases.... It's not a whistle like a PCV or is it......
So many things up for grabs based on mileage...

Okay troops..... Pootling around the A2 runs nice... As soon as you give it some the EML flashes....... VCDS lite says now multiple misfires and cylinder 2 but I redid the earth node so that maybe the multiple sorted as might need to crimp tighter??
Is this a potential carbon or fuel pump issue...... Plug swop showed 1,3,4 running cleaner but 2 a bit sooty????
Maybe the diagnosis of injector was accurate??? I've put redex extreme on now in attempt to clean fuel delivery and injectors with 98 fuel???

I've moved coil packs around and always cyl2... Runs great cold.. when you give it some hard beans it flags up.... Auto electrician says injector.... I've done a tank of high octane and fuel system additives so maybe he was right....
Runs very different at tickover though cold to warm???

Sorry if I missed it, but, is it a 1.4 or 1.6?
If 1.6, must always use 98/99 octane (V-Power preferably).
If you habitually use 95 in a 1.6 you're doomed.
Mac.
Mac.
