Misting up

I now keep a silicone squeegee permanently on the passenger side dash, the kind of thing usually used for drying off the car after washing, so that I can wipe the moisture off the inside of the windscreen before starting off in the mornings now. The only issue is that it does not cope with frost on the inside of the windscreen.
I just replaced the rubber mats with fabric ones so that might help.

That reminds me I must get back to having a look at the webasto which has never worked since getting the car over 10 years ago. That might help on frosty mornings too.

The product I use is made by Pingi. Reusable car-dehumidifier. It never leaks when saturated unlike cat litter that will. It is reactivated by zapping it in the microwave for 6 minutes and has an indicator built in that changes from blue when dry to pinky white when it needs reactivating. Had it from Asda for about £8 and works like a charm

Saw these in Tesco the other day on offer, 5.99.
Don't know if that is still on though

I bought the larger 350g size in a twin-pack from Amazon for £13-something, in fact two of them so free delivery without needing Prime, and they turned up in two days. One in each car, on the dash, sitting on the polythene bag it came in. The one I'm driving seems to stay mist-free, results so far are mixed for the ones awaiting their next turn.
