MOT Insurance

Hi Folks

Insured my A2 yesterday over the phone, £169 fully comp. When we'd done the deal, the young lady asked if I would be interested in a new product they had introduced this week. MOT insurance! £35.00 a year would insure the car for up to £600 worth of repairs if the car failed the MOT.

Anyone any experience of this?

Nice price, who is it with?

Ours works out at around £300 pa I think (1st Alternative Insurance)

We are with Audi Insurance at £390 its the best quote I have had.

The price was from RIAS. Fully Comp, voluntary excess £150, over 9 years no claims protected and legal cover, windscreen, etc. Wasn't the cheapest though. The AA was £149.00!

Sending me info regarding the MOT insurance. May be interersted in that.

Thanks for the info Hank...I am going to have another look at insurance.
I have full No claims and im over 30...should be cheaper I hope
