One of my pet hates are lane hoggers. On the M1 yesterday I noticed these new information signs displaying "keep left unless overtaking". But why was only 1 in 4-5 signs displaying this info, is it a cost issue?
Later I was on the M6 and M62, their signs made me smile, they were more to the point "don't hog the middle lane". And more of them were in use. It's about time people were reminded.
BTW On the M1 in South Yorkshire the police were patrolling in an unmarked dark blue N reg 5 series BMW. On the M6 they had an unmarked dark blue, oldish, battered looking Volvo T5 estate.
