Mud flaps removal

Might be a silly question, but is possible to remove mud flaps without removing the wheels? My newly acquired A2 comes with mud flaps but I might consider removing them if it's a straight job.
Thank you in advance!
Andy

From fitting mine recently, the clips both front and rear shouldn't be an issue, easy access from the side with a flathead screwdriver. The front screws should be possible to undo with the steering on full lock. But the rears just sit too close to the wheel to be able to get at the screws.

Yeah, agree with Proghound on this, for the amount of effort it takes to remove the wheel it's not worth the hassle of trying. It's easy once the wheel's off*.

*By easy, I mean even I can do this little job...

Over the years I've needed a mud flap fitting kit on a couple of occasions. Audi parts dept have them listed but they are not the right ones. (Not their fault as its shown as the correct part number on the "system"). A big thankyou to James Abbott Blackmore for this top tip....the fitting kit for the A2 is the same as the Polo 6N. I bought some Polo 6N mudflaps on ebay and they arrived this morning all complete for £7. I may not be able to use the flaps but its worth it alone for the fitting kit.

What a bargain - I would like to put a set on my tdi sport but the prices!! Would be very interested to know if you can fit these Polo mud-flaps to the A2 - will save a fortune, but we will all have to be quick before the price skyrockets ?

Sadly I don't think the actual Polo Mud flaps fit the A2 Froggy.
