Music to test BOSE

Just listened to this on a non-BOSE RNS-E system, and it blew me away ... :) Can't wait to try it on the BOSE...

Tokyo Ghetto Pussy - Pump It 1

There is a really good speaker tester in the middle of On Her Majesty's Secret Service by the Propellerheads. So I recommend that. Great tune anyway!

Thunderstruck ACDC
Know how. Young MC
Duality. Slipnot

3 songs best played to the max....
Thunderstruck i preferred steve n seagulls version watch the video...there’s some cool music on here ..yellow wow that took me back .robert miles ..led zeplin..fire starter that was my daughters fav at uni ..there’s some oldies on here for sure ..I’m glad I’m not the only one .

Ah, well do I remember that one being played at work when I was a young software developer, by the guy who had a subwoofer on his PC - a pleasure.

Puts me in mind of one of my all-time faves dating from around that time, that came in for a good few plays on the sub as well. A band you'll probably never have heard of, but I reckon this one will give BOSE a damn good workout. I look forward to finding out when Pure is back from WOM! :)

If the rest isn't for you, at least check out the mid section from 3:50 and especially the enormous guitar break at 5:20. Enjoy.

Just picked up on this thread ... as a recovered car audiophile I'm almost crying reading down my playlist and fear a relapse if I ever hear a Bose system :) ... A well produced studio album over live any day for me, so in no particular order:

Raintown. Deacon Blue
You make loving fun. Fleetwood Mac
Songbird. Fleetwood Mac
Mr Bad Guy. Freddy Mercury
Running On Faith. Eric Clapton
Last Night. Chris de Burgh
Lucifer's Cage. Gordon Giltrap
Money For Nothing. Dire Straights

Ok in the spirit of a proper test, Yellow produce some great sounds that Hifi shops use to show off their systems to potential customers spending many thousands of pounds. I find their music shows up any weakness in a system very quickly.

I remember Yello being used too, Fleetwood Mac's Rumours was used to demo my first Cd based system, the player was a Pioneer, Nad amp and Mission speakers, £600 back in 1985.

? I look back at the eighties with very fond memories.

Another artist heavily used by the dealers is Tracy Chapman enjoy.

Ps. i grew up as a small boy to an adult with a father who had his own hifi shop so it's in the blood you could say.
