My A2

You’ve done a great job - also worth mentioning that your base is a TDI 90, making it even rarer (and IMHO, more desirable than a TDI). Any plans for a Stealth remap yet?

Not sure a remap is entirely smart seens as it has done 115k. However ive always wanted one. Who knows whats going to happen in the future all i know is that there will be more to come haha

At 115k if its been serviced well it's just run in nicely. Re-mapped mine a few weeks ago at 161k and i'm considering fitting a bigger turbo next year. They are very strong little engines.

That’s easy mileage! The best thing about a remap on a 90 is that it makes the power band much more linear and quicker to rev, like a petrol with a 4k redline. In many ways it could be easier on the powertrain than the spiky OEM surge. There’s a torque curve on here somewhere from when I sold my old 90.

I may consider it then Steve. The remap not the bigger turbo haha. Got 2 audis to fund now. Ive got a a5 now too?

A remap sounds like a good idea then. Maybe in the near future?

Hi all i know its been a while(almost a year lol ) since i last posted but like i promised the car has had some changes.

In the last year my very special a2, if i do say so myself, has been fitted with h&r 25mm lowering springs, new OE top mounts, monroe shocks, new bushes and bump stops plus various other bits and bobs, cast control arms after finding some weight reduction in my pressed arms?, a horn upgrade using a replacement a2 unit wired along side a new a8 horn unit which gives my car a very strong presence on the road when needed, a new alternator, complete set of philips white vision halogen headlight and fog bulbs and a timing belt kit.

On top of all that my a2 got a few visual mods in between all of the maintenance and future proofing. First came my private reg with a set of very classy and suiting pressed aluminium plates. Then came my votex boot spoiler and my custom homemade projekt zwo inspired fog trims. I also had my front grill surround wrapped in gloss black. And finally and very recently my fully referbished tt competition wheels which are finished in silver with diamond cut faces. Im currently in a process of trial and error trying to find black and silver centre caps that actually fit off ebay. As we all know ebay parts can be of less quality than OE?. After all that typing i do hope i havent forgot anything although it is highly likely that i have as my car is a never ending project. Seems to be a thing with a2s??.

Love those wheels, presumably on 205 40 R17 tyres with no spacers?
Standard suspension, any rubbing issues?

I want a set refurbished in black to replace these:

Im running 215/40/17 ps4’s and its on 25mm h&r springs. Think the 25mm is from SE hight so its only lowered 15mm from its original sports ride height. Could be wrong on that tho. Very slight rubbing on the rear arch but after a few times of it rubbing it went away. Only rubs on very harsh bumps or when the car is fully loaded now but its very minor tbh.
