My little french A2

Hello all,

I'm Adam from France and this is my Audi A2. It is a 2004 Milano Red Colour Storm with a 1.4 TDI making 75 bhp.

It used to belong to my mum since 2008 when she bought it from the first owner and it's now been given to me as my parents bought a Range Rover Evoque, so this little guy is not needed anymore. It's in pretty rough shape (it has done nearly 180k miles (284 411 kms)) but it is mechanically sound, for now at least.

So the list of things I want to do to it goes as follows:

- Install a 2 din radio (I want android auto in it)
- Recharge the AC
- Fix the rear right power window (cable snapped according to mum)
- Diagnose and attempt to fix the OpenSky roof
- Improve bodywork shape (it is covered in micro scratches)
- Find new rims and try to refurbish existing ones
- Fit LED lighting in cabin
- Fit Cruise Control to the car
- Fix Central Locking

and more I may have forgotten

So that's pretty much it, thank you for letting me join the forum and see you whenever I've got a problem on the car

Hello and welcome Adam...thankyou for joining and look forward to reading your progress with a really nice looking red storm.

Welcome Adam
Nice colour storm, I have an FSI in same colour.
Whereabouts in France are you? We maybe heading to France (depending onCovid-19 status) in September to see the nephews, they live in Rodez during the week and head 60km south for the weekends.
Good luck with the car and enjoy it.

I live near Geneva so quite a little way from Rodez
The car certainly needs love, but it's pretty fun so far

It looks good from a distance, but depending on the angle the car is covered in microscratches, I'll show it in detail once I get to polishing the body
