Nick, how do you find the Cube? Always found them quite tempting but have been offput by the lack of diesel engines and the interior not really matching the highly unusual exterior...
Russ

The Cube is definitely not a driver's car since it was designed exclusively for the domestic Japanese market using the mechanicals of a Nissan Micra. It rolls in the corners and has the aerodynamics of a brick. But it's great for relaxed cruising around town with it's high seating position, bench seats, and upright windscreen. And it's even more spacious than the A2 because it's a box on wheels.

OK, So not exactly as the title asks, but at present my only other form of transport along with the A2. 4 x cylinders in my garage with an annual road tax expenditure of £46, cheap motoring with lots of enjoyment.

Another Smart Roadster (Brabus Coupe) owner here.
Removed the aerial from the front wing and the Brabus sideskirts for a cleaner look and replaced the tinfoil Brabus wheels with some that could endure the pothole infested roads.

millau? We went over it not long after it opened, superbly impressive. Nice porker, too

It is, yes. We did a road trip couple of years back. Track day at lemans Bugatti then south to Monaco. Fantastic machine, and definitely a keeper :)

Honda Insight Mk1 - used for commuting

Mercedes S600 - used on my days off

And a couple of Vespas, a 1972 GT and a 1978 Super.

This i the big Brother to the A2, with summer and winter tires. It is a perfect combo. And when I need a hitch for the trailer I take my wife's GLK.
A hitch is on the To-Do list for the A2, but not on the top 10.

The Mini will be up for sales, replaced by the A2. And my Vespa will be replaced by the Open Sky. :)

I am jealous, I LOVE the big Audis, especially in that condition.

Heres my other car, the Octavia vRS petrol. Great car which I got for the dog and I didn't want to run the A2 into the ground. Its pretty nippy and the boots massive!

I don't mind repeating myself here, what great taste you guys have in cars and since you all like the A2 as well, then that is one hell of a complement to the great little A2.

I'll drop you a PM Peter. I'm interested in your views on the octavia estate in some more detail. I have a demo being delivered from Skoda UK on 2nd April . A Scout 2.0TDI 4x4 184bhp DSG. It's an amazing sounding package for the money - the parallel A4 allroad is significantly more expensive.

Skoda customer service is also top notch. They're delivering the car to my door and I've got it for a week. Should be settled in that time if it's the right choice for me. Will be specifying the Canton sound system to enjoy Sigur Ros to the optimum!

My other car I didn't mention is a Vauxhall Insignia. ITs been faultless for 3 years which has been nice as the Golf Estate and Audi A4 before that were both dogs maintained by morons. So for this segment I'd look at the lowly brands.

Look forward to hearing you, and Sigur Ros will sound great on that lol.
