Need a reliable garage to sevice A2 in Manchester area

Hi,
I desperately need to find a good reliable garage to service my A2, prefereably someone who is used to servicing A2's (previous garages have tended to "fix" warning light indicators by simply disconnecting them- which i am thinking is not very safe:mad:!!) I live in Stalybridge, in Tameside so if anyone can recommmed a garage i would be most grateful!

Hi and welcome to the forum. By good fortune the forums very own technical guru of all things A2 lives in your part of the world and am sure will be able to help you out. 'Skipton' or Mike as he is otherwise known can do most servicing and from experience of his work on my car can highly recommend him.

No question about it, Vady - as Adrian says, Mike (Skipton01) is definitely your man - he gave my A2 a long-life service about six months ago and knows the car inside out - highly recommended by several other members (as per other threads on the site).

Skipton01 is not too far from you, Mossley. I can also vouch for his expertise. He'll be perfectly fine with you. Engine warning lights are common for A2's.
 
Thanks for the recommendations chaps - Vady has made contact and I'm sure we can get the little A2 back into the rudest of health!
