Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I bought a 04 reg A2 1.6 FSI with 76000 miles on the clock in Mauritius Blue, no EML when test driving, but after arriving home eml was on, a bit of motor way driving with Wynn injector cleaner cleared it but after about 700 miles of motorway driving the light came back. At that point I used scanner to see what is going on and the error code turned out to be p0302, cylinder 2 misfire, so I carefully looked at the tachometer, I can see that at idle the car is a little bit rough and the the rpm indicator was moving very slightly about 10 rpm up and down and apart from that I don't feel much power loss or hesitation at speed or moving off. I send that car for a major service at a VW Audi specialist as I was not sure about when the car was last serviced, they changed oil, filters and spark plug and checked ignitions coils. In order to find the cause of the misfire they also did a compression test and found that the cylinder 2 pressure is about 30% lower than other cylinders and at that point they suspect it could be valve bit sticking but they suggest leave the misfire as it is. When I got he car from the service the EML light is off but came up shortly after. I saw in the forum many 1.6 FSI has misfire issue much worse than mine I am wondering if anyone would have any idea about the cause of misfire or any opinion if I should just drive as it is?
