New A2 owner South East

Hi all

As the title says, I'm new to A2s and these forums. Picked up a nice TDi 90 last weekend and it's in overall fair condition, it just requires some maintenance and replacement of parts. I'm limited in what I can do hands on myself, so was wondering if there are any specialists in my area or within an hour or so drive that have good experience with working on these cars so I can discuss plans, and get things done.

I'm in Aylesbury which is North Buckinghamshire. Apologies if there is already a thread about this, I'm just now finding my way around the forums.

Welcome to A2 ownership! I’m new to this too having got my first A2 just over a week ago and now looking at another!!

I’m not far from you in Holmer Green ??
 
The other top A2 specialist is Stealth Racing in Southam, Warwickshire, who are rather closer to you.

But you probably need no more than a well-established independent VAG specialist with a decent reputation. Google is a good place to start looking, although hopefully someone here will come up with a firm recommendation for someone reasonably local to you.

Welcome to the forum :) When in Leighton Buzzard I'm from near to you and have taken three A2's to WOM, would heartily recommend their work.

Thanks that's actually very sound advice that I didn't think of. Always owned Japanese cars so never thought of VAG specialists. Theres one not far from me so I'll give them a visit and see what they say.

You could do a geat deal worse than contacting Gary at B&F Autos in West Hounslow. Not a lot about A2 that he doesn't know, charges sensible money. Tube 5 mins away, 5 mins off the M4. Proper "old school outfit".

About an hour from Aylsbury.

Yep, we use Gary and he is superb.
