New A2OC logo - Vote

Should we update the A2OC logo?

  • Yes - I like the new logo and would like it to become the new club logo

    Votes: 42 58.3%

  • No - I don't want the logo to be changed

    Votes: 20 27.8%

  • I don't mind either way

You know the more I look at it, the more I like it. I'm starting to like the lines on the car now too. Any chance I can change my vote? :p

I wonder if my initial thoughts were based on views that the outline is the defining design feature as seen in the other A2 forum logos.

Saumart I can see either you or your girlfriend (or both!) do this sort of thing professionally, and I can see you've put a lot of effort into this. Thanks for giving something back to the A2OC community.
 
We can accommodate anyone asking to change their vote either way as long as the request is on here as you have done. Just so that people don't think we are being dishonest.

Just say the word (as I say, either way) and we will take it into account at the end of the vote.

I voted to keep the original logo as I feel that the proposed logo could be improved.

The 'OC' running at an awkward perspective to the car looks incongruous. My preference would be to see the 'A2OC' wrapped around the front of the car in perspective, with the 'C' taking the place of the nearside wheel.

My feedback would not be relevant if it hadn't already been an excellent revision of the logo in order to inspire it and it is almost there.

Thank you, I will reduce the "No" vote by one and increase the "yes" vote by one when the vote has closed.

We aim to please (but we do "miss" occasionally)

85 people have read this post now, 18 people have said no (including adjustment) everyone else has either voted to indicate they do not mind either way or did not feel strongly enough to vote (which is perfectly ok too)

If we are to change the logo we need a majority result (the bigger the better) and I am genuinely hoping that we do not upset too many members if that happens.

We will be looking to make this availiable in a range of products for the club members.. Should the members vote that way.. But please do get your votes in.. They all count.

And please remember that the "S-Line" badges will remain whatever happens, they look great on an A2 and even though we have lots remaining, when they run out we will get more of the same.

We can still change your vote either way right up to the deadline of course

THE VOTE HAS CLOSED!!!!!!

Thank you to all those that voted.

The end result including the one requested change of vote is

43 voted yes to the new logo and 19 voted no.

So that is more or less two to one in favour of the change.

So we will now start to look at the options we have available and make an announcement shortly.
