Hi everyone i'm a new audi owner i am due to collect my persian blue special ed audi a2 tomorrow, very excited as i did not know it had cd and panoramic open sky!

Its had 2 lady owners has full service history with audi and the dealer has just done an mot.

My question is (as i'm scared of having to replace it) should i have cambelt checked as its at 67000 miles and doesnt look like its been done yet?

I'm so scared of something going wrong has anyone got any advice

I see you live around Manchester so you can't be too far away from our A2 guru, Skipton01 (his real name is Mike) If you would like a full health check on your new car at a very reasonable price then contact Mike and see if he can fit you in. He can do anything from a full diagnostic scan to lubricating the Open Sky roof (but not cambelts unfortunately)

You will love the car but don't let excitement over-rule logic, make sure you are fully satisfied with the cambelt history as it has either been done as per schedule or it will need doing right now.
A full service history could be true but check it out and make that phone call as ULP suggests.
Also make sure the sky roof operates smoothly, no juddering or uneven opening or that could be an unwanted expense.
If you can get someone like skipton01 to look at it, it would be money well spent.

Also I have 3 months warranty, is it worth taking out an extended warranty with full cover for an additional 12 months?;)

If the timing is right, get Mike's opinion on the need for the extended warranty when he does the check.

Great news!

Having check all the past history and servicing and mot's I have found every document done on the car and it would appear that they added a new belt last year when it was having a full service!!!!

Thanks for all your help fellas and just incase I have gone with the extended warranty

love my new car managed to get out with the roof down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!:D
